Mountainview Haiti Information

The US Navy has based on the New Missions compound. Nav SeaBees are helping to provide food to the New Missions schools which are currenlty operating in temporary shelters. Though the list of  mission buildings damaged or destroyed is great, we are thankful that the school children are being fed!

As part of our efforts to help the people of Haiti, we will be collecting Haiti Emergency Relief Kits.  New Missions is hoping to collect 10,000 of these kits which contain basic hygiene, medical and food items.  Here is a report from Charlie DeTellis at New Missions in Haiti. Charlie has served in Haiti since our establishment in 1983. At our mission are 150 U.S. Marines and over 300 U.S. Navy personnel. They have made New Missions their base camp and are a strong support for our mission in [...]

New Missions (official page) Charlie DeTellis is at New Missions in Haiti right now. 150 Marines and around 350 Navy personnel are at the mission with him. They are distributing food and medical care.
Today, the 22 New Missions churches in Haiti will be a pace of hope for the families across the Leogane Plain
